PL1643 PureLinePump Union

This pump union is used on the PureLinePure Flow Pumps (PL16 Series) and PureLinePure Pro XL Pumps (PL15 Series). The 1-1/2″ male union threads screw into the female threads of the pump ports, or you can remove the male portion of the union and screw the union nut onto the male threads of the pump ports.

Unions will really make your life easier if you need to do any maintenanceon your pump as you simply unscrew the union to remove your pump from your plumbing. The alternative without unions is to cut your plumbing to remove the pump and then when the pump needs to go back into place you have to re-plumb and glue. Unions are a necessity if you will be removing your pump from your plumbing during the winter.
